Whispering Woods is a single-family home community composed of 79 residential lots in West Ocean City, MD. The streets wind around 8 acres of naturally-landscaped ponds.
Set back from Route 611, the neighborhood is surrounded by mature woodland and is full of plant and wildlife. On a Spring or Summer day you can hear the beautiful sound of birds chirping. It is a safe and private place that is great for jogging, playing outside, and walking pets.
The Home Owners Association has a limited role and is responsible for maintaining the roads, removing snow, and landscaping all community ponds. Although there is no community pool, homeowners can choose to purchase a seasonal pool pass to the Mystic Harbour pool.
Mystic Harbour amenities are located just one mile South on Route 611. The large complex includes one of the largest swimming pools in the area and a kiddie pool. Please call for up-to-date pool pass fees.
Whispering Woods is conveniently located just a few blocks from two world-class fishing marinas, Sunset Marina and Fisherman’s Marina. The area is well-known for it’s spectacular restaurants, fresh-off-the-boat seafood, and hosting some of the year’s biggest fishing tournament events.
Just up the road, you will also find Food Lion Grocery Store, the West Ocean City Outlets and a brand-new Flagship Movie Theater with reclining seats. Around the corner are Ocean City favorites, The Greene Turtle and Smoker’s BBQ pit.
Whispering Woods is conveniently located off Route 611 (Stephen Decatur Highway). You can hop in your car, avoid all the local traffic, and head straight to Assateague National Seashore. You don’t want to miss the wild ponies!
